TCC
The Tamil Community Centre (TCC) is an archive, a place of memory, a place of study, supported by a place of gathering, health and community, set within a complex language of landscape and context. As a catalyst for new and inclusive community identity, the centre is framed by a commitment to a resilient environment. It is a place of inclusion for Tamil, Indigenous and all groups of adjacent communities in Scarborough, GTA, southern Ontario and beyond. A reverence for nature links these communities, the land as a place. Its environment knits together threads of a dispersed population through gathering, activity, and cultural manifestation.
